Depending upon the gaps - an action plan will be prepared which will need to be addressed within a 3-6 month period - and the assessor will then just reassess the gaps.
If more than 6 months is required or the gaps are substantial, you will need to apply for a full re-assessment.
DiBA Promise has been designed for those organisations that require more assistance before undertaking formal assessment:
If you choose to make the DiBA Promise you will be allocated a Diversity Coach who will carry out a review to identify your current diversity position.
Your coach will evaluate areas of good practice and will assess any gaps against our Diversity in Business Accreditation. (DiBA)
A full report will be provided that identifies what actions will need to be put in place prior to formal assessment. Timescales will be set and an agreed assessment path will be put into place.
When you and your coach identify that you are ready for formal assessment you will undertake the full DiBA Accreditation process.
As part of the assessment process your Assessor will work with you to identify 3 smart diversity actions which you will set and seek to achieve annually. Your Assessor will ensure that any actions set are challenging and stretching and promote continuous development.
The reassessment process is annual. Each year you will be assessed on a theme of the accreditation, any gaps and your diversity actions will be reviewed for progress and achievement.
Over a 3 year period you will have gone through a full assessment cycle, covering all the themes within the accreditation and you should have implemented and achieved 12 diversity actions.
