Diversity in Business Accreditation is a comprehensive set of good practice standards which address a range of business functions, including:
leadership
people and performance management
employee and community engagement
client satisfaction
supplier diversity
DiBA will ensure that businesses are better prepared and equipped to respond to the new demands placed upon them. The Standards have been aligned with the Public Duties, the Equality Act 2010 and other regulatory legislation such as the Solicitors Regulatory Authority Code of Conduct and Outcome Focused Objectives.
DiBA has been reviewed against other quality marks such as Investors in People, Lexcel and Customer Service Excellence so to ensure that it compliments other assessment activity and is streamlined.
The DiBA Promise
For those organisations who require more assistance before undertaking formal assessment:
If you choose to make the DiBA Promise you will be allocated a Diversity Coach who will carry out a review to identify your current diversity position. Your coach will evaluate areas of good practice and will assess any gaps against our Diversity in Business Accreditation.
A full report will be provided that identifies what actions will need to be put in place prior to formal assessment. Timescales will be set and an agreed assessment path will be put into place.
When you and your coach identify that you are ready for formal assessment you will undertake the full DiBA Accreditation process.
